World Cup: ‘I like how they approached Netherlands’

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has predicted a ‘special’ game when Morocco face Canada in the Round of 16 at the World Cup on Saturday.

Henry spoke on Fox Sports after Morocco eliminated the Netherlands from the World Cup Round of 32 stage earlier today.

The former France striker also said that he liked how Morocco approached their encounter against the Netherlands.

“I like how they [Morocco] approached the game. The coach [ Mohamed Ouahbi] said something at the beginning that we are not scared of anyone, we are not underdogs,”Henry said.

“We are here to try to play. The Morocco game against Canada will be special,” he said.

Morocco and Canada will clash in the World Cup last-16 on Saturday evening at Houston Stadium.

The North Africans defeated the Netherlands 3-2 on penalty shoot-out following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.

Canada, on the other hand, knocked out South Africa from the competition on Sunday.
