Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa, has weighed in on some relationship dynamics, urging women to look out for certain things before settling down with a man.
While speaking via her Instagram page, Toke stressed the importance of communication in relationships, stating that keeping malice is not healthy in relationships.
She added that empathy in relations are more important and ego and pride.
“Marry the man who calls you after an argument just to make sure you’re okay. Not the one who leaves you alone with your tears. Choose the man who stays when things get hard and wants to understand you, not defeat you. A man who can pause, hold you, and say ‘I’m sorry’ because your relationship matters more to him than his ego,” she stated
