Nigerian Grammy-award winning singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has reacted to the claims of having romantic interest in Super Eagles’ goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.
The singer, while speaking during an interview at the BET Awards ceremony over the weekend, explained that she can’t date or approach Nigerian male celebrities for a romantic relationship.
Tems noted that she sees most Nigerian celebrities as brothers and family, stating that she has no intentions of ‘shooting her shot’ at the goalkeeper
“I know who Maduka Okoye is but I don’t know him personally. I wish I did though. But shooting shots at him, we don’t do that over here. We [Nigerian celebrities] friend each others and we are family. I see my male colleagues as brothers,” she stated.
